Should I Use A Natural Colon Cleanse Before Or After A Fast?

Fasting and a natural colon cleanse somehow go together, but you may be wondering about the most optimal time to do a colon cleanse. Should you do it before the fast, or after?

Well, the best answer I can give you is - both!

However, if you really have to choose between the two, I would say to do it before.

It’s easy to explain. When you go on a fast, it means that the digestive system is shutting down. So, you don’t want that hamburger, or a whole bunch of foods you ate sitting in your digestive system. By doing a colon cleanse before you are sweeping everything out, and any new waste released during the fast will be processed way more easily.

Why Use A Natural Colon Cleanse Before You Fast

I have a 4 Day Colon Cleanse that I’ve put together myself based on a formula used for thousands of years by Ancient Egyptians.  I believe it is the most perfect mix for effective colon cleansing. It’s made of bentonite clay and certain types of seeds and fibers that really pull everything out. The result is that get you rid of pesticides, heavy metals and toxic waste. So by the time you go into your fast, you won’t have all this “stuff” sitting in your digestive system causing you discomfort.

It’s always a good idea to do some sort of natural colon cleansing before a fast, even if you do it just by eating heaps of fresh fruits.

In this case, my advice would be to indulge in apples, mango, papaya, and any other fruits you like.  Or even just eating apples alone will really do a great job.

High fiber vegetables such as cucumbers and carrots are another option. I would say that 3-4 days of eating only fresh fruits and veggies would still really help you out before you begin your fast.

The Benefits Of A Natural Colon Cleanse After Your Fast

Many people have years of accumulated waste, buildup of mucoid plaque and toxic heavy metals. During your juice or water fast, all these things will start to soften. That is why I recommend doing a colon cleanse after your fast as well, to help remove what's been released.

The majority of the population suffers from constipation and it's often caused by this accumulation of plaque in the digestive system, small intestine, and the colon. If you do regular colon cleanses with enemas and an occasional salt flush, you’ll see all this nasty stuff coming out.

So, once you break your fast, you should definitely do a colon cleanse as well. The whole point of doing a fast is cleaning EVERYTHING out and taking your health to the next level. You can find out more here

The process of cleaning out your digestive system happens in parts, a kind of shedding layers, so just keep at it. Underneath each layer is an increase in health, vitality, energy and passion for life

Cheers to your health,
