HOW TO DO A colon CLEANSE?
You have 2 Options: 4 Day Fast Cleanse or more gentle over 28 Days
If you are really backed up or constipated, you may want to start with just doing a spoonful a day in the mornings added to your normal routine, to start the process. After that, if you are starting to feel the benefits, you could do the full 4 day fast cleanse as per the suggested daily schedule. This is not a quick fix, but a process to help clean your digestive system over time. You may want to repeat it regularly over a few months to get the full benefits. After all there may be years of toxicity in your system so it may take some time. This is a lifestyle, not a diet. And of course please consult a physician before starting any cleanse.

Start your day with 1L water with freshly squeezed lemon juice

I haven’t had any bowel movements, is that normal?
The good news is you are not alone and this is normal for some people, especially women, as they seem to hold a lot more in their colons - including emotional blockages. Others have reported that the first time they did the cleanse, they didn’t have a bowel movement for the first 3+ days however, they persisted and kept fluid intake very high, along with implementing some of the recommendations that you can find outlined below (and online here) and stated that when it did release, they were amazed at how great they felt. If you continue to do the cleanse at the start of a new season, with every Colon Cleanse you do, your bowel movements will improve to the point where eventually on Day 1 of taking the Colon Cleanse, you will most likely have a movement by lunchtime. This shows that the cleanse definitely clears blockages that are hindering your nutrient absorption and will continue to work better over time, as these blockages are slowly cleared away. -
Additional Recommendations
• First and Foremost, please be sure to stay hydrated and drink the recommended water intake, or more!
• Massage your stomach in large clockwise motions.

Can I eat on the Colon Cleanse?
The 4 day colon cleanse is designed to be enough that you won’t feel the need to eat food. It’s better if you don’t eat, however if you need to, apples are best. Focus on eating as little as you can and make sure you are drinking enough water. If you find you are really hungry (not emotionally hungry), then only have whole fresh foods like salads or lightly steamed vegetables. You can dress them with a dash of lemon or apple cider vinegar and salt. -
Can I drink coffee or alcohol?
It would be better if you could abstain from coffee or alcohol while on the cleanse as your body is in a detoxification process. If you do drink coffee or alcohol, do it in moderation. It won’t ruin the cleanse. -
Can I do the colon cleanse if I’m pregnant?
You know your body best so we would recommend tuning in with you and following what you feel. If you do choose to do the cleanse, we recommend taking the more gradual approach of 1 tablespoon of the Colon Cleanse first thing each morning whilst also eating healthy food for 28 days. -
What type of detox effects should I expect?
This will depend on your levels of toxicity you have and how your body reacts to the detoxification process. There are a wide range of effects that are possible. Some people experience mild effects, such as a general sluggishness. Others may experience effects that are a bit more prevalent, such as headache and lack of energy. People who have very high levels of toxicity in their bodies may experience something similar to a moderate hangover. During this time, you can take solace in the fact that dangerous toxins are being flushed from your body and that detox symptoms generally begin to subside after the 3rd or 4th day of your Colon Cleanse. Drinking extra water, taking a short nap, or taking a walk can help. Soaking in a luxurious bath with some Epsom salts and soothing essential oils can also be very soothing and reinvigorating. Can I just ask, does the Colon Cleanse really expire?
I know psyllium husk has a long shelf life.. I know expiry dates sometimes are just a guide but just wanted to check? Your right the ingredients do last much longer than the use by date listed on the bags which is just a guideline. -
I did this cleanse 2 years ago and this time feels more intense - is this normal?
Yes! The colon cleanse can get more intense every time you do it because the layers of mucosal plaque and debris are stripping away! -
When doing the Salt Flush :
I am on day 2 of the Colon Cleanse and just checked out your website for more info. Both the video and the instruction sheet talk about a salt flush on day 5 - would Himalayan sea salt do the job?
We recommend purchasing some Fine Himalayan Sea Salt to use for the salt flush, and it’s a great addition to your pantry (if you don’t already have some). You can also use Epsom sea salts, although in our opinion, the Epsom is more aggressive through the system.
