When it comes to food, it is actually the fruits. A lot of people avoid fruit thinking it has a lot of sugar, but it’s actually the fruits that are like astringents and one of the greatest antioxidants to boost our immune system to keep us strong.
When I say fruits, citrus is right up there, particularly lemons. Lemons grow year ’round. It’s like Mother Nature’s way of telling us, ‘if you’ve got a problem, there’s always a lemon’.
Squeezing some lemon into your water cleans the liver and the lymphatic system. It gives you all the electrolytes you are looking for, keeping you nicely hydrated.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
The vitamin C in citrus fruits has always been known to boost your immune system. Don’t use those stupid packets that are genetically modified bacteria from China. Just eat citrus.
Lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit – amazing for clearing the lymphatic system.
Our immune system travels through the lymphatic system and exchanges between the blood in every part of the body.
Better than that, or just below, would be berries. Getting your strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, elderberries…. They say the darker the berry, the more antioxidants. Berries have so many checmical phyonutrients, like alagic acid, which has been known to fight off cancer. There’s lot of research about this that can easily be looked up.
A great way to get berries is to buy frozen organic berries. Then a couple times a week put a cup of berries into a smoothie, and drink it down. Of course if you can get fresh berries and be consuming those as well…
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
